Calendar

This is the dated, Southeast-focused growing and food-safety calendar described on Start Here — built in monthly windows, not a 52-week document you have to remember to open.

What a window is

Each window covers one month, with real metro-Atlanta dates — not "late August to mid-September." It tells you what to plant, protect, or preserve this month, and why the timing matters, so you're not searching for the answer after the window already closed.

Where things stand

The first windows are being built and tested through fall and winter 2026, alongside the alert system for first-frost warnings and pest-emergence timing. Nothing publishes here until it's held up through a real season — the same standard the alerts have to meet before they go live.

If a real threshold is crossed and the alert doesn't fire, that's a miss, not a gray area. It'll be posted here within a day: what was supposed to happen, what didn't, and what changed so it doesn't happen the same way twice.

Get the first window

The calendar reaches you by email, not by having to check back here. Subscribe below and it'll land in your inbox once the first window is ready.
